It was good to see Mesut Ozil get his transfer in January when it became clear he had no chance of playing for Arsenal again, but his time in Turkey has not yet gone according to plan.
He has yet to score or assist and he just missed a great opportunity to open the scoring tonight:
Granted, he’s under pressure but the goalkeeper is so far from his position that all that crosses the line will be a goal, but the hunt for his first goal in Turkish football continues.
Now that he’s no longer getting £ 350,000 a week, it seems like Ozil is having a pretty hard time.
