World News – USA – Why Landon Clements doesn’t like Southern Charm’s Chelsea Meissner

Former Southern Charm actress Landon Clements sheds her thoughts on the Charleston reality show. Clements appeared in seasons two through four of Southern Charm. She has moved to Los Angeles since the show, but has not completely strayed from the show.

Clements was released on Tuesday the 1st. December, in an episode of the podcast « Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef ». She commented on the current season, her life since leaving the show, and the person she still stays in touch with. When it came to Chelsea Meissner, Clements didn’t hold back her feelings.

« I’ve never been close to Chelsea and I’m still angry about their whole girl code thing, » she said on the podcast « Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef ». Clements refers to the time when Clements came to Thomas Ravenel for a weekend getaway when he and Kathryn Dennis were trying to improve their relationship.

Meissner found out and took Dennis’s side, saying Clements broke the girl code. Clements answered her and said, « There is no girl code. I’m sorry this is the lameest thing I’ve ever heard. Grow up. ”

Clements continued her thoughts on Meissner and said on the podcast: « And I was someone again that I felt you were so kind to, and then she followed me. I don’t know if it was about building her part or whatever, but I literally don’t care if I ever see her again. ”

Both Chelsea Meissner and Naomie Olindo decided not to return for the latest season of Southern Charm. Craig Conover introduced the crew to Olindo when they met, but their relationship didn’t work out. While Clements may not be Meissner’s biggest fan, she only had pleasant things to say about Olindo.

« I’ve always known [Olindo] and she’s just the cutest little doll and I’m so happy that she is happy and has a great relationship, » said Clements on the Behind The Velvet Rope podcast with David Yontef. “And I think they might be moving to New York. He just got a job up there. So I work in the hospitals, which sure is a crazy place. I don’t know her schedule for the move or anything, but her online store has really improved and she has been super successful with it which is great. ”

Clements added, « She was always pigeonholed like Craig’s friend. And then when she came back it was like she was against Craig now. And I don’t think she ever really felt against Craig or against Craig. She was like a pro at the time. And you know, they were really young when they started dating and then you add a camera crew and all that drama. ”

When Clements was on Southern Charm, costar Craig Conover struggled to motivate himself to work as a lawyer. Conover started sewing to relieve his stress levels and have a fun hobby, but it quickly turned into a business idea. In April 2019, he founded his pillow company Sewing Down South, which has been a huge success ever since.

Some Southern Charm cast members – including best friend Shep Rose – often made fun of Conover for wasting his time sewing instead of pursuing his lawyer career. Conover studied law and passed the South Carolina bar exam after a few years of procrastination, but the Bravo star never really practiced. « I used to be mocked for enjoying the art and craft of sewing, but now I look forward to focusing on what I and so many others enjoy so much, » Conover wrote on Sewing’s website Down South. « We sewers deserve a kick-a- ** sewing brand that represents our lifestyle! »

Clements agreed with this opinion on the podcast « Behind the Samtseil » with David Yontef. « And you know, even by the time Craig was doing literally nothing, he brought it together [when he and Olindo struggled with their relationship], » she said. “And his pillow business is booming. And you know this is also like a testament to just following your heart and being true to yourself. ”
