NCIS Season 18, Episode 4 is the latest installment in the CBS drama but won’t air until 2021. Although the series has been on the air for less than a month, it is already time for the show to take its winter break. CBS will be airing some classic episodes in the coming weeks. The next episode of NCIS, entitled « Sunburn, » will air on Tuesday, November 5th. January 2021, published on CBS in the series’ usual 8 p.m. time slot. m. ET / 7 p. m. CT.

As usual, shortly after it airs, the show will be available for viewing on the CBS website and app, as well as on CBS All Access.

CBS will fill the void that the new NCIS has left with some recent episodes, beginning Nov.. December with the premiere of the 17. Season in which Ziva David (played by Cote de Pablo) returned. .

As of now, CBS has not released an episode synopsis for « Sunburn », although fans may note that the episode has an odd title for one that airs in the dead of winter. This seems to suggest that the show is continuing its decision to set episodes in the pre-coronavirus era, with episodes set to catch up with our current moment in episodes set to air in February 2021.

Steven Binder, co-showrunner of NCIS, explained this jump back in a TVLine interview. « We had an episode last year called ‘Musical Chairs’ where Gibbs disappears from the squad room to go on a mission and then shows up with a black eye at the end of the episode, » said Binder. « We’re going to pick up season 18 with this mission that Gibbs was on in the time. . . We’re in a pre-COVID world for a while. «

His fellow showrunner Frank Cardea explained in a CarterMatt interview exactly when Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) will fight both the coronavirus and the culprit of the week. He said: « The first five episodes will take place during the [‘Musical Chairs’] period. . Episode 6 sums that up and Episode 7 brings us into a post-COVID world. «

Also, according to the couple, once we hit today’s timeline, if Maria Bello leaves the show as Jack Sloane, we will lose a cast member. The actress has up to eight episodes of the 18th. Season signed, which means their time on the series has run out in the first episodes of 2021.

In episode 5 of the 18th. NCIS Season, who pissed off the showrunners, will also return a noted guest star as Margo Harshman returns as McGee’s (Sean Murray) wife Delilah – though we may see her again as she and her spouse experience some problems.

Binder told CarterMatt, « All relationships are generally pretty happy, but at some point every marriage goes through a difficult period. We dip our toes a little in this water. «

NCIS Season 18 returns Tuesday the 5th. January, back on CBS. Every episode of NCIS is now streamed on CBS All Access.
