After the team’s best guards were eliminated from the line-up, Pritchard took the load in the back seat, played 32 minutes and started a new career. Top 23 points for a career – top eight assists in the team’s 126-114 decimation of the Raptors in Tampa. The 32 minutes was also a new highlight in the professional ranks.
Pritchard was once again powerfully efficient on the offensive. He was able to intercept all but five of his shot attempts. That included a 2-of-4 clip out of reach. His turnover rate wasn’t bad either, as he only gave it away three times.
Pritchard shared the pitch with former Oregon teammate Chris Boucher. Boucher scored nine points and took six rebounds. Boucher also came off the bench and played 21 minutes. He made 2 out of 6 shots.
Pritchard was named third on Oregon’s all-time list for Pac-12 Player of the Year last season and could have surpassed Ron Lee had the season not ended early due to the coronavirus. He ended his career with 1. 938 career points. Pritchard was then removed from Boston on Jan.. Overall rank elected.
Pritchard’s previous career high was 13 points in his third professional game on December. 27. He also scored 10 points in the next game against Indiana. His previous best assistant night came that game against the Pacers when he finished at five.
Pritchard isn’t the only duck to make an impact in the NBA. Along with Boucher, Dillon Brooks has averaged nearly 20 points per game with the Memphis Grizzlies, while Troy Brown and Bol Bol continue to play bank minutes in Washington and Denver.
