It’s been over a decade since work on a film based on Naughty Dog’s popular Uncharted games, meanwhile, the film has gone through seven directors, five release dates, and a string of scripts and actors. a new image of star Tom Holland – who will play a younger version of series hero Nathan Drake – in full costume as the character provides the best proof that the movie is actually taking place this time around
Shooting isn’t much to do, admittedly – just an image of Holland in Drake’s cargo pants / henley combo and matching pistol holsters.But a close look reveals the ring, which in the canon of the game, possibly owned by Nathan’s ancestor, Sir Francis Drake
It’s also hard not to focus on the fact that Holland, 24, looks, well, young when he first appeared as Nathan Drake given that the Nathan Drake in the Uncharted games is in his mid to late 30’s, it’s not too surprisingly the movie would be supposed to be a prequel / origin story for the character

Nathan Drake’s original voice actor Nolan North also shared some footage from the set, which seems to prove that the movie Uncharted – which, at least for now, is still being directed by Ruben Fleischer – is actually a real one. movie that’s currently in production and may one day be something you can watch in theaters
