A Navajo and Tiwa tribe celebrates the victory of President-elect Joe Biden with a traditional Native American dance in New Mexico

Ashkiya Randy Trujillo, 26, was so thrilled with the former vice president’s victory that he felt compelled to get off his pickup truck and literally dance through the streets of Albuquerque

His spontaneous celebration caught the attention of photojournalism student Sharon Chesheli, who was walking next to him

I posted the delightful scene on Twitter on Saturday as it has already garnered over 5 million views.

Chischilly, who is herself a Navajo descent, was in town filming the protests in Albuquerque and suddenly she heard some of the familiar music she knew when she was little

After identifying its source, she encounters the man performing a traditional storytelling dance in the middle of the street.

Words cannot express how happy I am I hope you feel love for everyone! Trujillo tweeted

She told NBC News, « I caught my attention and rushed my phone, » I was trying to record it while taking pictures of the dance.

After the video was posted online, I quickly got to know the inspiring dancer after she ended up commenting on her post

‘Just FYI, I’m new to Twitter and never been planning to have one, but just wasn’t quite sure how to get Schischillyy to thank her and props for capturing this moment Words can’t express how happy I wish you could feel love for everyone! Oh! Trujillo wrote

Trujillo said he performed one of his many powwow dance styles that often portray stories like hunting or battle

‘I was just dancing because I was happy because, you know, we’re going to see a different leadership.’ Trujillo said, ‘You know, something different than we’ve seen in the last four years.

‘The joy is to feel the liveliness in your step, the warmth in laughter, the beauty of your smile, the teamwork that we share as people looking for hope when there is nothing this is the feeling of joy that I shared with you tonight Thank you for the love and compliments

Trujillo told NBC he was performing one of his many powwow dance styles that could often portray stories like the chase or the fight

Chischilly said the music reminded her of Navajo traditions and it originated in Manuelito, in the Navajo Reservation that includes part of the state

‘I was just dancing because I was happy because, you know, we’re going to see a different leadership.’ Trujillo said, ‘You know, something different than we’ve seen in the last four years.

She added: « It brought me back somewhat, natural, you know, and definitely made me feel at home »
