. .
Say goodbye to « The Office », Indiana Jones, « Back to the Future », « Airplane! » and so, so, so much more.
Netflix may be the Big Red Streaming Monolith, but this holiday season they look a lot greener than a grin when you look at the streaming service’s latest list of year-end departures. And boy, this thing ain’t just a lump of coal; it’s a whole mine of it.
Basically, think of something you love to watch on Netflix – and it’s gone. The Indiana Jones films? path. The « Back to the Future » trilogy? Sayonara. « In the spider verse »? Web sling somewhere else – and on Christmas Day too. You shouldn’t take anything away at Christmas, Netflix! « The notebook »? « The city »? « Plane »? Eliminated everything. « The Office », one of the most important background noise generators for the streaming service? Dismissed and soon to be hired by Peacock. Netflix feels so grinning that they get rid of both current Grinch movies: the Jim Carrey edition and the animated one from a few years ago. After all, who needs the Grinch to ruin all of your festive fun when the streaming service does a lot of it without the need for help?
And that’s just the tip of the ice castle – because that’s how 2020 ends of course.

As gigantic as it is to say that you’ve always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it brought in the latest film reviews for its show-and-tell in first class or film reviews for the St. . As a high school student in the Norbert College Times, Matt is far too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he’s not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking too ardently about « Piranha 3D », Matt can probably watch literally any sport (minus cricket) or work at a local movie theater. Or watch a movie. Yeah, he’s probably watching a movie.
