VERNON Kay melted the hearts of I’m A Celeb fans tonight after revealing he was wearing a suit and dancing with his daughter while watching Strictly.
On today’s show, the 46-year-old presenter chatted with celebrities about their families and personal lives.
Vernon, who has two daughters with wife and Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly, remembered watching the BBC show with his eldest daughter Phoebe when she was little.
He said, « When Phoebe Streng watched with me, I first dressed in a suit when she was young and we danced together.
« So she would wear a princess dress, I would wear a suit and if they all dance around we would do that again.
« And one night she said out of the blue, Dad, is my mom Tess Daly? Because we’d never really explained that mom works on TV because mom is obviously mom. «
Vernon and Tess, 51, have Phoebe – now 16 – and Amber, 11, together after tying the knot in 2003.
The host previously impressed his roommates and viewers by telling a cute story about planning a surprise vow renewal, and this latest story continued to win the hearts of fans.
Another added: « Vernon always dressed in a suit and danced with his daughter in a princess dress . . . and that’s the kind of father I want for my kids. «
After Vernon shared his previous story about his and Tess’ vows renewal, Vernon took to Instagram to share a moment of the day.
She titled it: « So sweet to listen to Vern tells the story of surprising me with the renewal of our vows. Here is a picture from that special day. «
