Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has asked Harvey Barnes to take his game to a new level.
Barnes has scored three goals in eleven games for the Foxes in all competitions this season and while that number is by no means flattering, the 22-year-old winger has been actively seeking higher performance as the season progresses.
When asked about what feedback Rodgers gave, Barnes said, “He talked about the progression from being young to being a top player.
« He repeated to me that as an attacker you can play as well as you want in the final third, but at the end of the day you have to get the goals, the assists, the odds and the odds of hitting those levels. ».
“You can see the top wingers score goals. It is one of the most important things that they score a lot of goals. So I want to base my game on them and try to get to the levels they get. It is obviously a big challenge. «
