A woman was arrested after she allegedly got out of her car near an Adelaide intersection and stabbed another driver in the stomach with a knife, in an incident captured on CCTV
Police say an altercation broke out between the woman and man Hendon, 53, just after 6 p.m. yesterday
The vehicles did not collide, but stopped near the intersection of Trimmer Parade and Findon Road, in Findon in northwest Adelaide, police say
At this point, it is alleged that the woman got out of her car and used a knife to stab the man in the stomach while sitting in the driver’s seat
« It was just after 6:00 p.m. yesterday so rush hour traffic, » chief agent Kimberley Broad told ABC Radio Adelaide
« There was no collision, but when stopped at the intersection the woman got out of her car and stabbed the man in the stomach with a knife while he was sitting in the seat of the driver «
Police charged the woman, in her 30s, from northwest Adelaide with aggravated assault causing harm and granted her bail
Police have spoken « to a number of people present at the scene at the time, » but are asking anyone who saw or captured footage of the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1 800 333 000
