A woman has died after a car crashed into a train on Friday afternoon in Wynnum West, east Brisbane.
Paramedics were on site treating a 32-year-old woman for serious injuries after the train and car They crashed at around 1.40 p.m. at the level crossing where Lindum and North Streets intersect.
Police said the woman who was the only occupant of the car that was driving down Lindum Road could not be resuscitated.
The car, a small red hatchback, is believed to have driven onto the intersection around the boom gates.

A woman was killed at the open level crossing at Lindum Station in 2019 while crossing the tracks.
Safety concerns over the crossing sparked a dispute between Brisbane City Council and the state government over funding an upgrade.
