Approximately 6,700 2021 Toro Power Max 826 OHAE snow throwers, model number 37802, are being recalled because their augers won’t loosen when you let go of the control lever, which is a risk of amputation according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission > The company has received five reports of incidents related to the snail failing, but no injuries have been reported.
The snow throwers were available from Home 2020, Ace Hardware and Toro Authorized Dealers nationwide and online from November 2020 to January 2021 for sold approximately $ 1,200.
Consumers are encouraged to stop using the recalled product and contact a Toro Authorized Reseller for a free repair.
