A severe weather warning has been issued for the metropolitan area and the Perth area, predicting thunderstorms and even the likelihood of hail.
DFES advises motorists to drive carefully, turn on lights, and not through water of unknown depth The storm comes a day after Perth was soaked in 26.2mm of rain and exceeded the March average of 19.7mm in just 24 hours.
