Paris Saint-Germain has announced that Thilo Kehrer tested positive for coronavirus before the clash between Ligue 1 and Brest on Saturday.
Kehrer played the full 90 minutes of the 1-1 draw on Wednesday PSG versus Saint-Etienne, the French champions’ first game with Mauricio Pochettino at the helm.
PSG will face Brest in Ligue 1 on Saturday before they face Marseille on Wednesday in the Trophee des Champions.
In a statement by the club it says: « Thilo Kehrer has returned a positive test for COVID-19. He will begin a phase of isolation and is subject to the relevant health protocols. »
Kehrer – a contract from Schalke from 2018 – has played 14 games in all competitions this season.
