World news – Outside Lands 2021 is moving for Halloween weekend

The organizers of Outside Lands have announced that the festival will take place on the Halloween weekend in 2021 (October 29th to 31st) instead of the traditional August dates in order to ensure the safest possible environment in light of the Covid-19 pandemic

« We have been excited about our return to Golden Gate Park for over a year and while we have to wait a few months longer, we couldn’t be more excited to present an epic Halloween edition of Outside Lands », said Outside Lands co-producer Allen Scott said. “Moving the data enables us to work together to determine new security measures that are required for implementation on the festival weekend. We ask fans to use this time before the festival to continue to use common sense Covid safety practices, and we look forward to being together again soon. “

The festival in San Francisco this year features headlining performances by Lizzo, Tame Impala and The Strokes, as well as other performances by Tyler the Creator, Vampire Weekend, J. Balvin, Kehlani, Glastieren, Young Thug, Kaytranada, Khruangbin and Lord Huron, Nelly, Brittany Howard, Burna Boy, Angel Olsen, Earthgang, Sharon Van Etten, Flo Milli, Dr. Dog, Jpegmafia, Rico Nasty, 070 Shake, Caroline Polachek, Moses Sumney, Yves Tumor, Julia Jacklin, Bartees Strange and more.

Three-day general admission, VIP passes and more are now on the Outside Lands website available. Current tickets for ticket holders will be recognized for the dates in October 2021. For those unable to attend the new dates, refunds can be requested until April 17th.
