According to Corriere dello Sport, an Italian agent offered the services of Edin Dzeko to West Ham United. The rift between the world-class striker and Roma suggests an exit is an option.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Dzeko is in a heated argument with managers after losing to Spezia in the Coppa Italia round of 16 this week Paulo Fonseca and an employee.
It is described in detail that Dzeko and Fonseca have not been at eye level for months. Another report from CdS reports that the frustration arose after the Europa League was eliminated by Sevilla last season.
Dzeko was only called into action by Fonseca when extra time was already underway. Given the Bosnian’s quality and track record, it seems like he would have liked to move in much earlier.
That substitution was a nightmare on another front. It was an illegal sixth move from Fonseca, with a 4-2 defeat leading to a 3-0 defeat.
Corriere dello Sport even reports that someone had to get between Dzeko and Fonseca to prevent that the argument physically boiled over.
