Nike will deliver the newest basketball shoe from NBA star Kevin Durant – and fans will recognize something that has been missing from their trainers since the KD7.
The sportswear-inspired Nike KD14 will be released before the end of the month. It’s a court-ready look with a one-piece metatarsal strap on the upper, last used on a Durant signature model of the KD7. The brand stated that the design of the strap, particularly on the medial side of the shoe, was inspired by the classic Air Presto silhouette.
Beyond the strap, Nike introduced the KD14 with an elongated Swoosh (a nod to the Bruin Shoe), full-length Zoom Air strobes for responsiveness, and specially crafted mesh tops to overlay graphics for color options that the brand said cover topics like art, music, and more.

Nike confirmed that Durant will debut the KD14 tonight when its Brooklyn Nets take on the Los Angeles Lakers. The game time is set to 8:30 p.m. ET.
