More than 30 witnesses will testify in a case involving two midwives charged with the death of a Melbourne mother hours after she was born in 2012.
Caroline Lovell is already a mother of one child and has a Born a healthy girl in a pool in the living room of her home in Watsonia on January 1st of this year.
Midwives Gaye Demanuele and Melody Bourne were charged with negligent manslaughter of Ms. Lovell last year.
The duo stood on Monday before the Melbourne Magistrates Court, where a hearing to examine the evidence was scheduled for September this year.
