A man was hospitalized in Bicton after a shark attack in the Swan River.
A caller from 6PR said who happened to walk by after the attack said she saw the man and helped provide first aid
She said the man’s injuries were not life threatening, but he was in shock.
It is believed that four shark attacks have been recorded in the Swan River, the last one in 1973. The last death was in 1923.
The attack this morning is due to a particularly bad 12 months for shark attacks across Australia
