Pekke Rinne stopped 38 shots and got his 14th career assistant in Nashville’s first win over Tampa Bay in six meetings of the season. Mattias Ekholm had one goal and an assist, and Eeli Tolvanen and Viktor Arvidsson also scored.
Steven Stamkos scored for Tampa Bay, who lost 12 games for the second time on home ice this season. Curtis McElhinney fell 2-3-1 in the season after 22 shots.
