« This is his debut as Batman and he’s very far from perfect, » Reeves said of his story at DC Comics’ FanDome event in September.
« One of the interesting things is learning to be Batman It’s a criminological experiment He’s trying to figure out what he can do to change this place He sees that it’s not having any of the effects that he wants to have This is where the murders start to happen and it opens up a whole new world of corruption Without being an origin tale, it ends up touching its origins, ”he said
« It’s a detective story, a mystery, there is, of course, action, and it’s incredibly personal to him. It’s kind of a growing legend and [criminals] are afraid of him He is not yet a symbol of hope One of the things he has to face is the way he is perceived What was exciting for me was not to do the origin [story] but to do it meet in the middle and see him make mistakes and grow and fail and be heroic in a way that felt very human and very imperfect to me «
