It follows the tragic departure of the legendary artist, who is best known for being part of the double-action comic Cannon & Ball alongside his friend Tommy Cannon.

He also appeared regularly in the BBC comedy series « Not Going Out », playing Lee Mack’s father.

Ball’s other TV appearances included Last of the Summer Wine, Benidorm, and a stint in I’m A Celebrity. . . Get me out of here!

Rock On, Tommy: The Bobby Ball Story will air on ITV Sunday night November 15 at 5:30 PM or you can watch it online via the ITV Hub here.

ITV says: “In this tribute to one of Britain’s most famous artists, friends, family and co-stars celebrate the life and work of comedian and actor Bobby Ball, who has recently passed away.

“His wife, Yvonne, said the hospital and staff could not have been more wonderful, because they were outstanding in taking care of their duty and did everything they could for it and she couldn’t praise them enough.

“She said that the family and Tommy would like to express their sincere thanks to the many, many people who were fans of Bobby and knew that they would all partially participate in the great loss and total sadness of Yvonne. Both the family and Tommy feel.
