The technical fouls by Draymond Green have doomed the Steph Curry-less Warriors in their loss to the Hornets in Charlotte on Saturday evening between 102 and 100.

The Golden State coaches and players were especially upset when they tried to take time out before Hornet’s rookie LaMelo Ball stole the ball from Brad Wanamaker in previous possession. Look at the piece and you were right. This is the situation that can result in a jump ball, although the replay doesn’t show the bench of Warriors or Kerr trying to take time out.
« I think it should be another jump ball, » said Kerr. « As far as technology is concerned, Draymond can’t do that. He knows he’s made a terrible mistake. »

Wiseman has been out with a sprained left wrist since defeating the Pistons on January 30, and Looney has been out since he sprained his left ankle in a loss to the Celtics on February 2. Kerr admitted that her return will lead to some difficult decisions regarding the rotation. The strikers Juan Toscano-Anderson and Eric Paschall, who rose in small ball lineups, could find themselves in reduced roles or get out of rotation entirely.
