Fender is expanding its Acoustasonic® guitar family today with the Jazzmaster® and adding the latest hybrid guitar models from the manufacturer to the Stratocaster and Telecaster.
The Jazzmaster has always been a cult favorite of guitarists, from Pete Townshend to Tom Verlaine to Thurston Moore and J. Mascis. The Jazzmaster was introduced in 1959 when Fender was still in the early years. It was one of the earliest forms of Fender, and players loved its unique shape and tremolo string system.
