On Sunday, Corrin took to Instagram to show off her look for the ceremony. She wore a bold Schiaparelli mini dress. The dress made of tied velvet jersey contained padded sleeves and a neckline in the middle, which was adorned with three-dimensional jewels in the label’s typical Tooth Pearl motif.
Corrin combined the look with sheer black tights and wore her hair in a sleek, wet style. For the shoes, Corrin opted for heavy black bumps. The heels had a pointy toe and sat on a spike heel.
For this year’s show, Corrin was named best actress in a drama series for her role as Princess Diana in Netflix’s « The Crown ». The nod comes after she took home best actress in a TV drama series at the Golden Globe Awards last Sunday. That night, Corrin wore a studded dress with puff sleeves by Miu Miu.
Tonight, the Critics’ Choice Awards will be broadcast live at 7pm. ET on the CW. The show can also be broadcast live on Hulu, fuboTV and Sling TV. Taye Diggs is hosting this year’s ceremony for the third time in a row. The actor will perform live from the stage at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
Fashion aside, the night is sure to be a big one for Netflix. The streaming platform is available for 72 nominations. Nominations include Amanda Seyfried, who was named Best Supporting Actress for « Mank, » and Zendaya, who was also named Best Actress for her role in « Malcolm & Marie. »
