Pittsburgh police say a 12-year-old boy was stabbed to death in a McDonald's on Liberty Avenue.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh police said a 12-year-old boy was stabbed to death at a McDonald’s in downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon.

Police said they had 51-year-old Charles Edward Turner arrested in connection with the knife stab. He has faced multiple charges, including attempted criminal murder.

The child was rushed to hospital in critical condition. A criminal complaint states that a doctor has improved his condition to stable. Turner is charged with attempted murder, four aggravated assaults, two simple assaults, and resisting arrest.
