World news – Crocs’ iconic thankful dead clogs are being restocked soon – here’s how to get your hands on a pair

Grateful Dead fans, get your wallets ready now because Crocs is about to replenish one of its most popular collaborations.

The Crocs x Grateful Dead x Chinatown Market clogs let the legendary music group with a funky Inspire tie dye design reminiscent of vintage style. The design designed with Jibbitz sold out quickly during its September 2020 release, but luckily for deadheads it is being replenished today, January 12th. You will be able to shop the clogs exclusively at Crocs.com and TheChinatownMarket.com starting at 12 p.m. ET for a retail price of $ 60.

The unique design for collaboration can be seen from a retro band t-shirt with its psychedelic coloring and jibbitz inspiration, both of which pay homage to the band and the Crocs Colorado headquarters. The charms of course highlight the legendary dancing bears of the Grateful Dead in an ode to the band’s 1973 album « History of the Grateful Dead, Volume 1 (Bear’s Choice) ». As a nod to Crocs headquarters, you’ll also find climbing holds ready to hit new heights and heights across the mountain state.

If you miss the release today, resale sites like StockX and GOAT are offering pairs of the tie-dye clogs with prices between 70 and 188 US dollars, depending on the size.

The collaboration with Crocs is also not the Grateful Dead’s first leap into the shoe world. In summer 2020, the band worked with Nike on a legendary variant of the brand’s SB Dunk silhouette, which won the FN Achievement Award. The style was released in a mix of colors that are now reselling on StockX for over $ 4,000 for specific colors.
