World News – CA – « The Masked Singer »: The broccoli is chewed and spat out in the final of Group C – See who was under the mask!

« The Masked Singer » returned Thursday for a fun Thanksgiving special! The last participants in Group C stood in front of the two seats of the Super Six, and the fans could see who was singing with flowers under the fantastic broccoli costume.

The wonderfully odd show brought the remaining costumed participants from Group C – including The Jellyfish, The Broccoli and The Mushroom – back to where they had dressed up for their chance to move on, and also revealed some great clues about their identities along the way the way.

While The Broccoli made a valiant effort with a lively performance of Bob Seger’s famous hit « Old Time Rock and Roll, » failed to match the virtuoso performances of The Jellyfish and The Mushroom and fell short When the time came it was time for a vote.

Before the debunking began, the show’s prominent « detectives » – including Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy, and guest panelist Jay Pharoah – first tried their best to guess who was among the bright green ensemble.

Scherzinger suggested it was Wayne Newton, Jeong thought it might be Ringo Starr, McCarthy suspected it was Neil Sedaka, Pharoah suggested Paul Simon, and Thicke firmly suspected Paul Anka was under the mark.

As it turns out, Thicke knows his stuff sometimes really well when it comes to guessing voices.

« It was a great kick, » said Anka when Cannon asked about his experience on the show.

Anka also got a bit emotional when he shared a thank you message for the panelists and the show: « I have to tell you something, I am very humble. Because we’ve been through something in our country and we want to have this kind of fun and enjoy it that way, you should all be very, very proud. ”

With this final round, « The Masked Singer » has put together the Super Six. The last group includes the crocodile, seahorse, popcorn, sun, jellyfish, and mushroom.
