Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield both seem to be rocking the streets of New York We heard this week that the cast will not only be reprising their roles as Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3, but also that Doctor Strange will be responsible for their introduction into the MCU.
According to FandomWire, the character of Benedict Cumberbatch is set to make the first live-action Spider-Verse by bringing together these three different versions of Big Apple’s favorite superhero The outlet explains that during the film’s final act , webheads from different universes will show up to help take down various villains from the three Spider-Man franchises
“Without going into too many plot secrets, the recently announced addition of Doctor Strange is the way to bring these three Spider-Men together for the first time,” FandomWire says “The movie will actually create the first Spider- Verse live
This won’t just be a post-credits cameo scene.It’s more like an Endgame reveal with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker facing LOTS of Spider-Man villains from all of Sony’s Spider-Man movies, as well as new Maguire’s Spider-Man and Garfield’s Spider-Man will join Holland’s universe to help him defeat them «
This is where Jamie Foxx’s Electro, who was last seen six years ago in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, comes in, apparently The Antagonist will likely join several other villains in their quest to take out the pesky Avenger as well and from what we’ve heard this devilish lineup could include people like Dane DeHaan’s Green Goblin from the aforementioned film and maybe even Onofrio’s Vincent D ‘Kingpin, if the actor succeeds
Between this movie and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Phase 4 of the MCU certainly seems to be filled with cameos although, as we’ve seen in the past, that’s not always a good thing. p>
