Ontario provincial police say two people are dead and three others were injured after a multiple vehicle accident on Highway 401 in Mississauga Saturday morning.
Police said the collision happened in the east-facing lanes of the freeway on Winston Churchill Boulevard.
Peel paramedics told Global News that two male patients were pronounced dead at the crime scene. Two other men were hospitalized, one of whom was seriously injured.
Police initially said one of the people who were taken to the hospital had died, but an update stated they were in critical condition.
