British talent at the Golden Globes as the Hollywood awards show season like no other.
The usual glitz and glamor of the high-spirited ceremony will be in short supply as organizers confirmed there will be no red carpet, one of many concessions to the Pandemic.
Instead of a small army of A-listers housed in the ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the 2021 Golden Globes will be a largely virtual affair and nominees will appear from home.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting for the fourth time, but in yet another break with previous years, they will be doing so from different coasts.
Fey will be live at Rockefeller Center in New York while Poehler is out The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which oversees the Globes, said it will invite a limited number of frontline staff and key staff to the show.
During much about the ceremony will be different, the Golden Globes will still honor the best in television and film.
On the big screen, The Father, Mank, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman and The Trial Of The Chicago 7 are the best Nominees for Drama Films.

UK nominees include Riz Ahmed for Sound Of Metal, Sir Anthony Hopkins for The Father and Gary Oldman for Mank. All three are ready for best drama actor.
The Actresses category includes promising young woman stars Carey Mulligan and Vanessa Kirby, who are recognized for their roles in Pieces Of A Woman.
In the Supporting categories are Sacha Baron Cohen for The Trial Of The Chicago 7, Daniel Kaluuya for Judas And The Black Messiah and Olivia Colman for The Father.
Emerald Fennell is the best director, one of three filmmakers in this category, a Golden Globes first.
Crown stars Colman, Josh O’Connor, Emma Corrin, Gillian Anderson and Helena Bonham Carter are considered for awards.
