World News – AU – Taylor Swift teased that she was re-recording her old albums in her AMAs speech and that fans had started theorizing

« You have been more than wonderful in all of the years of my career, but especially this one, » Taylor said in her speech. « We were so far apart and couldn’t see each other in concert, but I still feel so connected to you through the music. Your reaction to folklore and all the ways your imagination honored this album. . . I just love you so much. I’m really, really happy because of you. « 

Then she added, « The reason I’m not here tonight is because I am re-recording all of my old music in the studio where we originally recorded it. It was great and I can’t wait for you to hear it. «

The last time she released this, it turned out that she had actually spent the day writing « Cardigan, » the lead single from her surprising eighth album, Folklore.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview with Paul McCartney, Taylor stated that numbers have always been important to her and have even gone so far that numbers « rule her whole world ». « 

« It’s all these strange coincidences of good things that happened, » she explained of her obsession with the number 13. « When I see it in places now, I see it as a sign that things are going as they should. They may not be good now, they might be painful now, but things are on the right track. I don’t know, I love numerology. «

And just last week, Taylor interviewed Rolling Stone about the creative process behind Red, which is on the magazine’s list of the magazine’s 500 greatest albums of all time.

During an episode of the 500 Greatest Album podcast, Taylor compared Red to a painting by Jackson Pollock and stated that she viewed it as a bridge between her country albums and her pop albums, to which she only « colors to the. » Wall threw « see what’s inside.
