Residents of Brisbane and the Shores of Gold and Sunshine warned to prepare for a month of rain in less than a day
Southeast Queenslanders were asked to prep their homes and rethink the trip with a month of rain that should fall in less than a day.
Up to 150 mm of rain were forecast for Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts until Monday, the Bureau of Meteorology said.
The heaviest rain was expected on Sunday, along with storm winds, dangerous waves, and surf and flooding.
