Reporting on the impact of the coronavirus on the sports world

Cam Newton has begun developing a relationship with his Provisional WR Corps in the past two weeks, which will last well into the 11th. Week lasted. Newton found Damiere Byrd on a perfectly thrown 42-yard depth shot to get the Patriots back into play. Byrd did an excellent job keeping track of the ball too.

The biggest difference between Lamar Jackson’s MVP version and the 2020 version is its efficiency on deep passes. After tying up with Marquise Brown for four long TDs in 2019, he’s tied with him for zero this season. One recipient he was still able to connect with at times is Mark Andrews. On a well-crafted deep shot, Jackson linked up with Andrews for a big one.

Chase Claypool makes his surprising argument for Offensive Rookie of the Year even stronger. Claypool might have had a worse chance than 100/1 – if he had been on the board at all – to win the pre-season award. Now? Well, we’re going to say that, given the eight touchdowns and the impact he made on the Steelers offensive overall – we like his chances. Ben Roethlisberger let the ball fall perfectly over the top and Claypool made the jump hold.

Joe Burrow wasn’t shy when it came to targeting Veteran A.. J. . So far green this season, but despite the high volume, the rookie has not yet been able to connect with the veteran on a single TD this season. That changed in week 11. In the red zone, Burrow found green for the TD.

Carson Wentz struggled in 2020 and that’s no secret, but he made a mistake starting week 11 that is unacceptable. Wentz missed an open reading for his recipient before deciding to toss a recipe for disaster late – in the apartment to a rewind – no matter how you slice it. The Browns immediately capitalized with a choice of six.

Tennessee has found a way to capitalize on its early red zone possession with a tricky misdirection game. Watch QB Ryan Tannehill’s eyes as he sells the litter to his right before returning to Jonnu Smith crossing his block and cashing in.

The best NFL stories are always the unexpected, and that’s exactly why two quarterbacks have the chance to break the ground in Week 11. P. . J. . Walker was arguably the best player on the field in any position in the XFL when it restarted last year, and now he’s about to get the chance to start on an offensive for his former college coach, that in Carolina with Joe Burrows the former very quarterback-friendly is college coordinator (Joe Brady) at the helm. Who knows – maybe Walker can turn this into an opportunity for a long term launch opportunity. In New Orleans, the Saints want to see what they have in Taysom Hill for the long term after signing him again. Hill will pull the start and could take the first step in proving himself to be the ultimate successor to Drew Brees.

Get the day’s big stories, fun things you love like bill drafts, picks, and power rankings.
