This is the haunting final photo of a man, taken seconds before he mysteriously fell off a cliff at Victoria Falls during a day with a friend.

The body of 40-year-old Roy George Tinashe Dikinyay was finally found 3 miles downstream when he fell at the iconic tourist destination in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe’s Newsday reported that he was taking turns with a friend to take photos in the canyon when he slipped and fell into the falls.

« We were alerted by the woman’s scream and she told us he had slipped and fallen, » a fellow traveler told Newsday.

« Because of the shower and fog, we couldn’t follow him after that, and then we alerted the park officials. ”

The last picture of Mr. Dikinyay alive shows how he takes on the view shortly before his fall, with the beautiful but powerful falls as a dramatic backdrop.

He was wearing shorts, a T-shirt, and a baseball cap while holding various items in his left hand.

According to local media, he drove with a friend to Victoria Falls Gorge in Zimbabwe on New Years Day.

Rescue workers said he fell into the water around 2 a.m.. 30 o’clock and disappeared into the fog below.

Zimbabwe National Parks spokesman Tinashe Farawo confirmed that a 40-year-old man had fallen into the gorge and that a search operation was started immediately.

Due to the difficult conditions, it took 24 hours for his body to be found and found by rescuers.

“We’re trying to develop methods of retrieval. The place is slippery and there is water, so we used the services of security services. ”
