Dr.. The spokesperson for the National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority Saif Al Dhaheri said that since the announcement of the reopening of the land borders between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, many inquiries have been raised about the entry procedures for Omani citizens.. .

He added that the relevant requirements must be met before entering the country, to ensure the implementation of preventive measures, in line with the highest health and safety standards for citizens and residents of the UAE, noting that people coming from Oman are required. To show a negative result in a PCR test that was performed within 48 hours of arriving at the land ports.

Al Dhaheri also indicated that the Ministry of Health and Prevention will provide the Public Authority for Security of Ports, Borders and Free Zones with a list of approved testing centers in the Sultanate of Oman.. .

With regard to DPI tests, he indicated that an immediate DPI will be performed upon arrival at the country’s land ports, and if the result is positive, a PCR test will be performed and the people will be returned to Oman until their test results are proven negative..

But if the result is negative, anyone can enter the country after installing the appropriate health monitoring applications, stressing the necessity of adhering to quarantine procedures in accordance with the regulations of each emirate. .

Al Dhaheri stressed that the visitors should undergo the required tests, which are a PCR test on the fourth day if they plan to stay in the country for more than four days, and a PCR test on the eighth day if they plan to stay for more than eight days, or a PCR test on the day. The twelfth is where they plan to stay for more than 12 days.

He added that those wishing to travel between the emirates of the country must sign a statement that includes the details of their pledge upon entering Abu Dhabi, noting that every visitor must sign the attached pledge upon entering the port, and whoever refuses this is not allowed to enter. Family heads may sign on behalf of the rest of the family if they are first-degree relatives.

He also indicated that a person over the age of 18 may sign the undertaking on behalf of a second-degree relative under the age of 18 while highlighting many of the required procedures before traveling to the country, including sterilization of luggage and adherence to precautions measures. He added that he advises patients with chronic diseases and the elderly not to travel in order to preserve their health and safety.

Regarding the guide on precautionary and preventive measures covering various activities and national celebrations during the outbreak of the epidemic, Al Dhaheri said that the country will soon celebrate two events, Commemoration Day and the 49th National Day, followed by Christmas and New Year.. .

He pointed out that the guide includes several controls that fall under five basic axes: public health, social distancing, regulations and policies, digital technology, cleaning and sterilization, stressing that within the framework of the public health pillar, the guide stresses the importance of wearing masks and using devices Thermal detection at the entrances to public facilities, attention to personal hygiene, and training of all employees in recreational facilities to follow health and safety guidelines and apply preventive measures when delivering food and drink. .

Al Dhaheri emphasized that the pillar of social distancing emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe distance of two meters between people, prohibiting private parties and gatherings, providing quarantine places, and installing entry and exit signs in all facilities.. .
