One driver is dead and another car driver is hospitalized after a multiple car accident in the northern suburbs of Perth on Tuesday morning.
A black Audi was driving west on Gnangara Road when it came to the intersection of Alexander Drive collided with a Hyundai van.
The Audi lay crushed and burned on its side, the van and the damaged silver sedan were several meters away.
The Audi driver died at the scene, while the van driver , a 25-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Perth Hospital.
« I saw it (the Audi) fly over me … I saw a tire coming towards me so I hid my head under the steering wheel. «
The witness said the drivers got out of their cars to help those involved in the accident.
A second witness said the sound of the collision was like » an explosion « while others said it sounded like it « a bomb goes off ».
