Leeds United has signed a new deal with 49ers Enterprises – the NFL’s investment arm Teams San Francisco 49ers – announced that will increase the minority stake in the Premier League to 37%.
The new investment will also include Paraag Marathe, president of 49ers Enterprises and current board member of Leeds, vice chairman of Elland Road Club.

The deal will lead to that Marathe – supported by Collin Meador, Vice President of 49ers Enterprises, and other key 49ers employees – has been more involved in the decision-making and day-to-day running of the club, both in football and in business for the 49ers for the last 20 years. He will also retain his seat on the Leeds United Board of Directors.
