Cyberpunk 2077 is about to launch, but that hasn’t stopped a person from already playing with the game on an Aya Neo gaming tablet with a Ryzen 5 4500U with Vega integrated graphics. Amazingly, the gamer can play Cyberpunk at 800P resolution and 30 FPS on the lowest settings. Sure, it’s not the prettiest experience and well below Cyberpunk 2077’s minimum system requirements, but the fact that it works is amazing in and of itself.

The Aya Neo is a China-made gaming tablet with a form factor very similar to a Nintendo Switch. In contrast to a switch, however, it runs under Windows 10 with a Ryzen 5 4500U APU, 16 GB LPDDR4X at 4266 MHz. a 512 GB NVMe SSD, a 1280 x 800 IPS screen and a 47 W battery. While the spec sheet isn’t suitable for playing PC games, the fact that this tablet has enough power to run the latest PC titles shows how good it is. Tablets have almost always been limited to mobile games because of their small size. This is a huge win for Aya Neo and the gaming tablet market as a whole.

This is also good news for people on very old machines or on systems with no discrete graphics. If you want to play Cyberpunk 2077, most likely you can. Although, if you have the internet bandwidth to do so, you may want to run the game through GeForce Now instead.

Sorry, if you want to buy this tablet in the US right now, you can’t. The device is only being sold in Chinese markets, but the developer is tempted to launch an Indiegogo campaign to see if it is worth selling the device overseas. So there is hope for international buyers.
