Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams posted a video on her Instagram page that mimics sister Serena Williams’ dance moves while playing tennis in the backyard.

Serena, who is currently second on the list of defending Grand Slam champions in women’s games, previously shared a video on her Instagram page that she broke into spontaneously after hitting some of her trademarks during a training session.

Serena’s video drew more than 300 in no time. 000 likes. Comments were also made by her trainer Patrick Mouratoglou and her husband Alexis Ohanian, among others.

Her fans included Venus, three-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka, British supermodel Naomi Campbell and hip-hop queen Ciara.

While the footage from Venus’ video is playing, the audio records stems the same number as Serena grooved to.

Also, Venus added the same message to her post as her sister. « I was told that I wasn’t sharing enough of my training. I hope this helps you know I’m serious, ”wrote the older Williams sister.

Venus has also put her sister on the job. Given that their posts were shared within a day, it appears that the sisters faced an impromptu dance-off challenge.

Venus’ post also drew numerous likes, including one from her tour rival Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from Russia.

At 40, Venus is a year older than her sister and has cleared up rumors of retirement. She continues to join the women’s circle with a view to further titles.

However, the individual champion of the Wimbledon women in 2000 did not have a memorable 2020 season and lost in the opening round of the Australian Open in two sets against 16-year-old compatriot Coco Gauff.

She also went out in the first round of the French Open and went in straight sets against the Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova.

Venus did not do better at the US Open in front of a home crowd and was eliminated in the opening round after a direct loss to the Czech Karolina Muchova.

However, as the video would suggest, her losses over the past year didn’t diminish her excitement for competing for titles.
