Weltnachrichten – AU – Silas Wamangituka Tor Stuttgart versus Werder Bremen, Bundesliga news, result

. . Silas Wamangituka certainly scored the most disrespectful goal of the year.

. .

The 21-year-old Stuttgart winger landed a hammer blow in his team’s 2-1 win against Werder Bremen with a series of goals in the Bundesliga on Monday morning (AEDT).

But his exploits were completely overshadowed by the sheer ferocity of his second goal – which got the football world talking.

Within minutes, Silas scored the decisive goal, was attacked by an opposing defender, received a yellow card and was tied up by his own manager in added time.

The cause of the uproar was his decision to slowly reach his second goal – even before the line. After pausing a few seconds to taunt goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka, Wamangituka finally tapped the line.

He was initially with no one between him and the goal after throwing himself on an awkward back pass with a defender knocking the ball right in front of his feet.

Bremen’s defender Davie Selke ran to the Democratic Republic of the Congo star and pushed him.

Wamangituka only asserted himself but received a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct, apparently for the mockery that preceded the goal.

After the game, however, it was made clear that Wamangituka’s card was intended for his role in the brief argument with Selke. If he’d been carded for the provocative walk-in, the goal wouldn’t have counted.

His manager didn’t seem to like his behavior either and put him on the bench for the final minutes of the game.

« The way he finished was obviously disrespectful. He had a very good game and he should just hit the ball and not make a song and dance about it, ”said Selke.

It was a first win in six games for the newly promoted Stuttgart, who nevertheless got off to a strong start after returning to the Bundesliga under American coach Pellegrino Matarazzo.

Matarazzo’s team is now in eighth place in the table after collecting 14 points in their first 10 games.

Wamangituka gave Stuttgart the lead shortly after half an hour and smashed the ball from 12 meters after Manchester United loanee Tahith Chong fouled Wataru Endo in the penalty area.

The Congolese winger sealed stoppage-time victory after attacking a mistake by goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka.

Selke nodded comfortingly before the final whistle, but it was too little, too late for the home team.

Bremen has not won since the first week of October and is on 12th place after a promising start to the season. Fallen place.
