Weltnachrichten – AU – AFL Club’s advertising campaign fails as fans spot uncomfortable details

. . The club was forced to act after eagle-eyed fans spotted the funny gaffe.

. .

St. Eagle-eyed Kilda fans discovered an uncomfortable detail when the club was promoting the New Balance 2021 clothing line.

In posts posted on the AFL club’s social media accounts, the Saints, with the help of young players Max King and Hunter Clark, showed off their gear for 2021.

The fans of Saints were quick to notice the bug and went to the comments section with answers like « Nice Nikes » and « These Nikes look great ». .

The club were forced to respond to a number of comments in an attempt to improve the record, stating that the players had independent shoe stores that could not be broken for the campaign.

« A player has strict shoe-boot partnerships regardless of the club to which he belongs, » wrote St. Kilda to another confused fan.

However, the argument was quickly shot down by a number of fans who said the problem could have been avoided by selecting players who were not required to wear shoes from a competing company.

Meanwhile, Jarryd Roughead’s insistence on a few beers has helped the Saints land Hawthorn Premier League defender James Frawley.

The 32-year-old recently joined his third club, joining with St Kilda as a delisted free agent just six weeks after retiring from 239 games with Melbourne and the Hawks.

It’s kind of homecoming for Frawley arriving at the club he sponsored as a kid and where his late uncle Danny is one of the most adored characters.

But it was his former Hawthorn teammate Roughead who is now at St. Kilda works, which proved to be an integral part of the retirement setback.

« I was going to play on a VAFA (amateur level) site and try to figure out what I wanted to do after Footy. the next 20 to 25 years of my life, ”Frawley said on Friday.

« Then I was having a couple of beers with Roughy in Noosa and was just talking and he said St. Kilda might be hot – this was the first time I’d heard of this and I was a bit surprised.

« It’s a bit weird to get into a third club, but I’m really excited to get out of here and help this group get better and hopefully the ultimate Premier League success. ”

Frawley said his entire family was wrapped up and that he had decided to end his career with the Saints.
