Iraq War warrior Sarah Apgar of Baltimore, Maryland is the creator of FitFighter, a training program originally designed for firefighters who use steelhose free weights. (After leaving U. s. Army, Apgar joined the local volunteer fire department in Huntington, Long Island. )
Sarah – who was also Princeton’s first American women’s rugby player! – FitFighter now sells – free Steelhose training program and weights – for coaches, coaches, gyms and the general public.
Sara wears a stunning red sleeveless suit with a plunging neckline and slit back, and FitFighter shows off in Season 12 of Shark Tank. You go to The Tank for an investment of $ 250. $ 000 for 15 percent of equity.
Sarah was fortunate to introduce FitFighter against Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Laurie Greener, Robert Herjavik and guest Shark Daniel Lubetzky of KIND Snacks.
Cuban, O’Leary and Greenner invested in Cut Board Pro, a cutting board with built-in scrap cup, which was made by late NYFD firefighter Keith Young.
Lori Greiner has invested, alone, in several firefighter-owned businesses including Firefighter Turnout Bags (a trendy bag made from firefighter coats), Fire Avert (kitchen stove fire protection device) and paintbrush cover (co. -Owner Sal Depaula is a Staten Island firefighter).
Note: A portion of FitFighter sales goes to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation, which supports wounded warriors, fallen firefighters, and their families.
New episodes of Shark Tank air Friday at 8 PM on ABC, before 20/20 at 9 PM.
