A 33-year-old man was charged in Rockingham Court with threatening the life of WA Prime Minister Mark McGowan.
According to the Western Australian, Gavin Michael Higgs appeared in Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on Friday for threatening to kill the premier at his home.
It is believed that Mr Higgs was at the Rockingham address of the Prime Minister passed by and threatened his life while his wife and children were also at home.
The magistrate gave Mr. Higgs $ 1000 bail but was placed in custody after failing to meet the requirements .
« My whole family was there at the time, but everyone is fine and that is the main thing, » he said.
