An earthquake struck the Snowy Mountains region in southern New South Wales on Wednesday, authorities have confirmed.
The magnitude 3.2 quake was struck shortly after 10 a.m., according to Geoscience Australia 19 kilometers south of Jindabyne discovered in the morning.
Local residents have reported experiencing a « bang, » but so far there have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
