CM – Broadstone Group acquires Quattro Pensions in Midlands

Broadstone Group, a leading UK employee benefit and pension consultancy, has acquired Midlands-based Quattro Pensions to support its growth in the company pension market.

Broadstone Group, one of the UK’s leading employee benefit and retirement consulting firms, has acquired Midlands-based Quattro Pensions to support its growth in the company pension market.

Quattro Pensions has been serving July 2002 actuarial and system administration services and currently supports over 120 customers, including the Pension Protection Fund (PPF). Quattro’s location in the Midlands and the associated support for PPF not only improve and complement scalability (the total number of employees is nearly 550), but also Broadstone’s existing geographic reach and service offering.

Nigel Jones, Head of Advisory and Actuarial Services at Broadstone, said: “I have worked professionally with the Quattro leadership team for many years and know that the way the company works closely aligns with our own values. This strong starting point will allow our two companies to come together without disrupting existing customers and employees. Jones also noted that « The established relationship Quattro has with the PPF, combined with our ability to increase scalability and efficiency, will create an excellent platform for the personalized service Quattro already provides to a much broader membership close. »

Andrew Allsopp, founding director of Quattro Pensions, added: “We have enjoyed growing our business over the past 20 years and believe that now is the time to improve what we offer our customers by introducing ourselves to unite with such a dynamic and respected company. We believe that joining the Broadstone Group will be good news for all of our customers and 100 employees, all of whom will enjoy the benefits of working with a national leader who shares our existing values. «

Liz Loosmore, Founding Director, also of Quattro, said: “We have worked extremely hard since 2012 to build a highly respected relationship with the PPF to ensure that pension system members receive adequate support during a time of great need. It was therefore particularly important for the Quattro management team to find a partner who shared our values. «
